Corrections and Clarifications

Our story in last month's journal about Edith McWhirter (left) winning our monthly competition should have read, 'Edith receives our food hamper prize' and not 'hamster'. We apologise for any confusion. The correct answer was, of course, c) Mussolini's aunt Sophia.

The caption on our lead story about President Bush, should have said, 'The President of the United States boards Airforce 1.' and not, ' Look at this monkey arsehole planning to bomb some more innocent people.' We apologise for this typographical error which slipped into the editing process. The work experience boy has been sacked.

We wrongly attributed the quote, " Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains." to Inspector Clouseau rather than the correct author, Rousseau. We shall no longer rely upon Wikipedia entries that have been edited on a Friday afternoon.
