More BNP Truth Problems

Head over to Adam B @ Tory Troll for the latest on Richard's Barnbrook's investigation by City Hall and his local council for his claim in a video taken by Simon 'Eyebrow Farmer' Darby for Barnbrook's excruciating blog in the Daily Telegraph (where in the absence of Route 66, I sometimes get my kicks), that there had been murders in Barking and Dagenham when he knew that this was untrue.

In short, Barnbrook, having known his statement to be untrue may face a 6 month ban. A sign of what we may expect if these vermin (thanks in no small part to the failures of the main three parties) manage some seats. Still, A career in crime fiction awaits Dicky.

The report (which can be found as a pdf at Tory Troll), concludes:

• ...we find that Mr Barnbrook has failed to comply with the Code of Conduct of both the GLA and the LBBD, by bringing his office and the respective
  authorities into disrepute.

I still worry about the amount of publicity given to the BNP. Are they being treated with too much respect with the result that - like Ryanair - all publicity is good for flights to Europe?

Or have they taken us by surprise? Rather like those appalling, bizarre Eurovision entries we laughed at until the voting system and hostility to the big boys connived to spit in our face?

Dial 'M' for Murder

Interesting, if somewhat disturbing news reaches us from Barking and Dagenham, home to Richard Barnbrook and 12 BNP councillors. Homicide and Telephone Threats no less. Cancel all police leave. CSI:Dagenham.

Not only has Richard attracted the attention of the Greater London Assembly Standards sub-Committee but he's been gagged. 'Richard Barnbrook investigated over murder claims', screams the B & D Post. Calm down. He's not been carrying out a form of ethnic cleansing. Apparently, he's made some claims that are a bit suspect.

• Richard Barnbrook, the BNP's only London assembly member, is under investigation after being accused of wrongly alleging that three murders took place in the borough.
  
  Mr Barnbrook, who is GLA member for Barking and Dagenham, claimed in September that a girl and two others were murdered in knife attacks.

The great thing about this elected clown is that he oftens makes ludicrous claims on his Telegraph blog about how he always wins debates with Mayor Boris Johnson only to have them shot down in flames by people who have access to video evidence. I mean I could claim to have scored the winner for Tranmere against Leeds on Saturday but unfortunately for my Walter Mitty moment, there is the small matter of Ian Moore's belter appearing on TV highlights and then Youtube.

Likewise, our hero, RB is a also a great fan of technology:

• He made the claims on Youtube website, accusing London Mayor, Boris Johnson and councils of failing to do more to tackle knife crime.

• GLA's standards sub-committee referred the allegation for further investigation after viewing the broadcast last month.

Well, well, well.

• Mr Barnbrook said in the Youtube video in September: "In Barking and Dagenham three weeks ago there was murder of a young girl.
  
  "Again two weeks ago there was another attack by knives on the streets of Barking and Dagenham and two people were murdered."
  
  Mr Barnbrook has been advised to make no comment while the investigation is underway.

Quite.

Fellow Dagenham BNP guy, Bob Bailey is also in the local paper over the leaked list of BNP members.

• Cllr Robert Bailey, leader of the opposition group on Barking and Dagenham Council, said he had received abusive calls since the list was posted.
  
  He said: "I think it's absolutely terrible that this list has been put in the public domain by somebody who has acted illegally.
  
  "I have had abusive phone calls from people threatening to follow me around and attack my house.

Quite right too. After all without the leaked list there would be no way of contacting Bob apart from at his surgery (1st Thursday of the month) or via his council website which helpfully details his address, telephone number and email address alongside his fellow BNP councillors.

The Real BNP:Volume 2487

I am indebted to the post by Birmingham Blogger Edmund Standing (of I Kid You Not) for this important expose of the BNP's White History Month. I did have a little look at this when their website was set up but didn't think too much about it.

Like those morons that clamour almost child-like for White Police Associations because they have one, the BNP kidders are wetting their Pampers in expectation of this annual display of white pride.

As I've said before, the fact that they are able to muster support at the moment as all good extremists do at times of recession is concerning. They still try to put on a cloak of respectability whilst all the time being rotten to the core underneath.

We know Griffin denied the Holocaust, has convictions for racially aggravated offences; that as they hold their jolly conference in Blackpool their real views are being suppressed to gain votes.

As the review of March of the Titans, A History of the White Race by Arthur Kemp
shows, this cloak is wearing thin.

As Edmund points out,

• In 'The "Final Solution": Nazi Policy towards Jews', Kemp reproduces a 1944 'prisoner's release note' from the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, using it to argue that 'imprisonment at the camps was not necessarily permanent' and that the release note was written 'supposedly at the height of that camp's gas chamber operations'. Kemp continues: 'The belief that imprisonment at Auschwitz meant gassing is belied by the release of prisoners from this camp and by the fact that many thousands of inmates did in fact survive'.

This is clearly an attempt at revisionism. That Kemp is so contemptuous as to use a single example as being a fact speaks volumes.

His chapter on the Third Reich offers no condemnation of Nazi actions only explanations we are invited to use to excuse Hitler.

• a large amount of what has been written about Hitler and Nazi Germany has been particularly subject to the pressure of political correctness........

Here's his take on Kristallnacht:

• The assassination of German diplomat Ernst vom Rath sparked a week long anti-Jewish pogrom in Germany resulting the famous "Crystal Night" where the window fronts of Jewish shops across Germany were smashed.

No mention of the start of the deportation of Jews to concentration camps.

Another example of his kindergareten approach to argument is this:

• NAZIS SUPPRESS DEMOCRACY

  A trademark characteristic of Hitler and the Nazi Party - they never made any secret of it - was their abhorrence of democracy. Firmly believing in the leadership principle, where one leader took the responsibility for the major decisions, as soon as the Nazis came to power, they started with a program of entrenching themselves in power to the exclusion of other parties and opposition movements.

  This anti-democratic movement extended past the political front: freedom of the press and eventually freedom of speech was also suspended. Although these were reversals of the democratic process, Germany was not alone in this: indeed, even at the end of the 20th century, still only one country on earth - the United States of America - guarantees its citizens total freedom of speech: every single other country on earth has one or another form of restriction on free speech, most notably in the area of race relations, where all European countries have made it a criminal offense to discuss racially related topics which are openly debated in America.

He then waxes lyrically at the successes of Nazi Germany - ant-smoking measures, promotion of mineral water, anti-vivisection (no mention of humans here) and disturbingly,

• Nazi Germany also forbid the use of the pesticide DDT on the grounds that it was a health hazard (it would be decades before this policy was adopted by other countries) and instead used a German produced version known as Cyclone-B.

This sounds like a smug revisionist in-joke. The real reason Zyklon B was found at Auschwitz perhaps? Sinister!

Kemp, chillingly ends the chapter thus:

• All things said, to have been a Jew in Nazi Germany could not have been a pleasant experience: but, as the over 4.3 million claims against the post war German state from Jews who suffered as a result of this persecution, (by 1998 the German state had paid out over $50 billion in reparations), certainly far fewer died than what is most often claimed. Increasingly, all the evidence urges a complete revision of this aspect of the history of World War Two.

This is what the BNP want your children to learn. Debate is one thing; lies another. The picture above is from Darby's blog on their conference. Note the Aryan girl up front, Barnbrook the Brown Jacket to the left and amazingly, a chap with a dog collar to the right.

There we have it. The image they want you to see:a scene from the latest Parish magazine in a quaint village full of indigenous, bicycle-clipped worthies, whilst all the time peddling filth like Kemp's book.

ITV Muck Spreading

Gardener-cum-novelist-cum-chef-cum-travel guru-cum-chat show doyen, Alan Titchmarsh had some interesting guests on his show on Tuesday. (I shudder to think about the type of google search terms that sentence will drive here, !).

According to eyebrow cultivator and erstwhile BNP deputy, Simon 'Two Wardrobes' Darby, he was a guest on the show together with loudmouth moron, Jon Gaunt of The Sun. Apparently, Diane Abbot, whilst willing to play footsie with Portillo, is not ready or able to share a sofa with the Indigenenous Ignoramus.

So, it would seem, ITV try to have a debate on the Gurkhas with two right-wing shits, albeit that Gaunt, like Littlejohn, churns out similar populist bile, but distances himself from the BNP. Given Gaunty's debating skill (or lack of it), this smacks of a publicity coup for a party trying to distance itself from its image of Holocaust deniers and skull-breakers. Whilst Barnbrook is largely a figure of fun, Darby is more articulate and an astute media player.

The programme is not yet available on watch again facility so I'll wait before making a full post.

What has been particularly galling is the way the right-wing and especially the BNP have used the Gurkha issue to claim the moral high ground. Although successive Governments have let them down, Labour should be ashamed at letting this own goal in.

As can be seen (just) in the screenshot of ITV's site, Alan celebrates the best of British.......and honours those who contribute to their communities and help make our nation a better place.

Barking Mad

Barking in London has many reasons to be proud: the brilliance of bard Billy Bragg, Bobby Moore, Brian Poole (of The Tremeloes fame), the innate wonderfulness of its punning possibilities, and proximity to the A13. Unfortunately, there is now a new kid on the block: Richard Barnbrook, the BNP representative on the London Assembly.

it's always a tricky question: do we ignore the racists or tackle them full on? I sometimes think a third way is called for - the 'hoisted-on-their-own-petard-or-ridicule' strategem (HOTOPOR).

As I prepare to watch the Liverpool v Man Utd game as a warm up for the real match of the day: Huddersfield v Tranmere, I thought I'd throw in some fun and games from Barnbrook's latest post on his Daily Telegraph blog. As Richard proudly boasts,

• here I am on the pages of a mainstream national newspaper

Yeh, well, rich, anyone can have a blog there - even Eric The Fish - even people wanting to write about table lampshade patterns. Hardly, breaking down boundaries. He continues his self-delusion:

• Times really are changing fast.

Not so much that Dylan's classic as there's a foul smell blowin' in the wind; that stench is coming from the lies that Barnbrook tells on his blog. Fortunately, quite a few are on the case. Whilst I make cheap, sarcastic points, others delve further.

For instance, in his latest offering to the world, 'Fiddling While London Burns', Tricky Dicky is on top form.

• While I have a spare half an hour I thought I would give you the details of today's proceedings during Mayor's Question Time.

• Obviously, I'm biased, but at 12:22 when it came to my input, I don't think the Mayor acquitted himself at all well responding that he was reluctant to give the oxygen to either the question or indeed the questioner when confronted with this:

  Can the Mayor comment on the shocking level of violence and intimidation directed towards Metropolitan Police Officers during this year's Notting Hill Carnival? Considering the astronomical costs, the policing bill alone exceeding £6 million, which falls upon the taxpayers of London, can the Mayor assure the people of this city that the suspension of this event is an option available to him?

Sounds like a good performance? Surely, nobody would be foolish to claim this when the proceedings are recorded and shown on the web? Step forward Barking's Coeur de Lying (well, if Mail readers can get away with Bliar, why can't I take the piss out of the lionheart moniker his Stormfront supporters have given him.)

  1. As well as saying he wouldn't stop the Notting Hill Carnival, the Mayor pointed out that it isn't in his power to stop it anyway.

While there may have been an 'embarassing row' between Conservatives, and the Mayor may have dealt with a question from Mr Qureshi rather swiftly, things were rather more swift and embarassing for you. And rather a different image of the Councillor than he tries to paint here.
  
  *What was the display? Did it have anything to do with Mothers Again... whoops London's Mothers Against Knives? That would be using it to call for something that isn't made explicit on the petition, which would be pretty dishonest - so it can't be that, surely. Are you able to reassure people tempted to sign the petition that it won't be used to call for measures designed to target black people, or are you unable to because that's precisely what you intend to do?

The Fish wades in with the subtlety of a not very subtle thing:

  He sounds like a drunken schoolboy trying to ask stupid questions at the School Council meeting because his mates have dared him.
  
  Boris uses bumbling to great effect; Richard just looks pathetic in the real sense.
  
  I think it is a shame they did not allow you to show off your new T-shirt. (London's Mothers Against Knives, the hijacked campaign)It makes a change from the sick coloured jacket. It must impress your supporters that you do not give in to mere rules like standing orders. Your orders! I'd have let you have your comfort blanket and do what all good teachers (such as yourself....ahem) do, and get you up in front of the class so people can ask you questions and Londoners can see what a clever boy they voted in.
  
  Boris said he did not wish to give you any oxygen of publicity echoing Thatcher's policy on the IRA. Maybe you could get an actor (or Simon 'pretty much' Darby) to do your voice over.
  
  Your extrapolation of figures over the arrests is mind-blowing. Instead of spending money on the Hadron Collider, we should be researching how your neurons are staggering around.

  You see, the point of a supplementary question is that it picks up on the initial answer to your original question. A spontaneous response, which is a fine art. To ignore that Boris told you HE had NO power to ban it, shows ignorance and poor debating skills.
  
  You said in a previous post that you had prepared for this. How long, exactly, did you spend on rehearsing your spontaneous comments?
  
  I'm so glad that the sessions are recorded. Otherwise we'd only have your unbiased recollection of what happened, which bears no relation to reality. How about a proper transcription?
  
  And for the apologist who accused others of asking loaded questions - cop a load of the Brown Bombsite's final wayward, attempted hook at the Champion - the Henley Hitman - 'So you're quite happy to see an increase in arrests?'
  
  The Challenger (challenged?)hurt by the flushing manoeuvre from Boris, reels back on the ropes and the towel is thrown in. As Alan Minter would say, 'This boy don't know when he's beaten, Harry.'

Interesting stuff. The cameras did not show Barnbrook due to his petty gesture in wearing a T shirt with his BNP MAK motif. He then shows how inarticulate he is and is laughed at by all sections of the Assembly. The picture shows Mayor Boris Johnson demonstrating a toilet flushing gesture in answer to Barnbrook's waffled supplementary question. He was, apparently, referring to an Australian Judge who did the same when addressing the jury and saying, 'that ladies and gentlemen' is the case for the prosecution. Priceless Boris!

As I said before, keep up the good work, Agent Barnbrook: destroying credibility from within!

London Calling

Given Richard Barnbrook's views it may have been more apposite to have titled this 'Germany Calling' but William Joyce, former Deputy of the British Union of Fascists under Mosley, was more of a radio star than pop star.

Millions of Britons tuned in to laugh at Lord Haw Haw's preposterous Nazi lies until he was put to death. One of his fellow propagandists, Norman Baillie-Stewart was one of the last to be incarcerated in the Tower of London.

Richard's latest meandering video offering comes courtesy of the wonderful technology of Youtube as posted at the blog of another Deputy Leader: Simon Darby of the British National Party and, with a careful nod to history, begins with a glimpse of The Tower.

I urge everyone to listen to this 10 minutes of gold. Priceless.

Careful, Richard, Mr Joyce was one of the last people to be hanged for treason.

Londoners must be very proud of having this dolt as a representative on the GLA. They say that he is one of the most articulate speakers the BNP has. His more repulsive side can be seen on his own Telegraph blog where he spits on the graves of WW1 soldiers to have a dig at Nelson Mandela and the fight against slavery, and then demands that the Notting Hill Carnival be banned.

The man ain't got no culture

It was another Simon who wrote the words in the title of this post (in A Simple Desultory Phillipic on the Sound of Silence album), but the photo above comes courtesy of the blog of leading hatemonger, the British National Party's Deputy Leader, Simon Darby.

Following the tea-and-scones picnic his members had last weekend in Derbyshire, he kindly posted some more jolly photos on his site; comments are moderated but not so moderate so I couldn't make a point there.

Let me tell you, Simon and the morons of Liverpool BNP, that Liverpool's Capital of Culture celebrations have, after a shaky start, turned out well. The picture shows the depths which these purveyors of hate will go to.

This is not the first time the Liverpool 08 logo has been bastardised by these fear-mongers.

The Liverpool Echo reported in July of this year that Peter Quiggins or Peter Tierney as he is known, a local shopping emporium owner, had been sent a Solicitors' letter over his use of it in his battle with developers - a fight that evoked quite a bit of sympathy and support at the time - and forced to desist.

• THE former owner of Liverpool’s Quiggins centre has been warned by the city’s Culture Company about using the 08 logo to promote the British National Party.
  Hill Dickinson, the Culture Company’s solicitors, have written to now-BNP party member Peter Tierney threatening legal action over the use a version of the Liverpool 08 logo on an advertising hoarding which he tows behind a vehicle.

The article continues with Quiggins defending his action:

• He said: “I put the logo on my trailer and it says that the city has been sold off.
  “It’s not the Capital of Culture, it’s the Capital of Vultures.
  “I’ve even drawn the logo myself – when you look at it, you can tell I’ve drawn it.”

It couldn't be the same one could it? I'll try to find out more information. Tierney/Quiggins was giving out BNP literature about culture the day before the McCartney concert; a fine ambassador for the city as thousands of tourists converged.

As those who have visited here as a result of following my profile on the Telegraph blog site will know, I've been having a bit of a laugh on Greater London Authority member Richard Barnbrook's pitiful blog. The Guardian initially expressed some concern over The Telegraph giving a platform to this brown-jacketed individual, but I think it serves a useful purpose in exposing Barnbrook for the coward he is. He refuses to answer pertinent questions and therefore has become a figure of fun.

Joking aside, the BNP are dangerous despite their low level of support. As the seat on the GLA shows, when other forms of electoral systems are used - as seen in other parts of Europe - minor parties can end up with disproportionate representation.

(I'm aware of the irony of complaining about infringement of rights and then appropriating Darby's photo.)

Repugnant BNP hatemeister Simon Darby, on his blog, alluded to a story breaking in the Sunday papers involving England footballers and the BNP. It appears that this, in The Sunday People, was the piece in question:

Sport and pop legends are fuming after their images were used in a music video promoting the British National Party.
National icons including Sir Paul McCartney, soccer star John Terry and cricketer Freddie Flintoff were hijacked to appear alongside hate lyrics on internet site YouTube.

The anti-immigration track This Is England includes offensive lines like: "They took our Pound, now they want to bomb our Underground" and has had more than 12,000 views.

Obviously, the people concerned: Terry, Flintoff, Butcher, Pearce and Macca (Churchill could not be contacted for a comment but Max Clifford allegedly said that if he was representing him he would issue a joint press statement with Kerry Katona).

Darby, in Derbys, is quoted as responding, "It is not an official BNP video. It has probably been released by a BNP supporter. People have the power to produce anything on websites these days.

"If it portrays Britishness, then I'm not going to complain about it. I would not be happy with using famous people who perhaps don't have the same opinion as we do. But there is nothing we can do about it. (This is crap as seen here: a commissioned portrait of Winston to raise money for BNP funds. There is also one of John Lennon about to be auctioned this month)
"I don't know what their political views are. If they are not of our opinion, then I

apologise."

Not quite a not-me-Guv defence as he is clearly secretly pleased about the content and the press publicity. This is an aspect of the fight against these Neanderthal Fascists that has concerned me for some time: the oxygen of publicity v free debate. As I've been trolling Richard Barnbrook's Telegraph blog recently, I keep wondering if it's counter-productive. I feel another post germinating and as cycle-partner Steve has jetted out to his Channel Island tax-haven today (have a word about investment with Tranmere's Chairman while you are there), I've nothing else to do.

I'm a bit worried about attacking Simon Darby as he likes to stick hooks in the mouths of fish and baiting the BNP is sometimes like shooting fish in a barrel, but his blog is informative and reasoned!

• On Freedom of the press

Just had the Guardian on trying to get a quote about one or two of the speakers we have lined up for you. It almost takes your breath away that these journalists who have facilitated in the systematic destruction of our people and our way of life actually think that criticising a process which is tantamount to genocide is somehow to be forbidden.

The Guardian wanted to ask about Petra Edelmannova of the far-right Czech National Party, party recently announced it was working on a 150-page "study" called The Final Solution to the Gypsy Issue in the Czech Lands. Now this is not quite the same as the Nazi Final Solution but the name is surely chosen for a reason. The article continues, "Although the title evokes the Nazi plan to eradicate Jews in wartime Germany, the party told Lidove Noviny, a national Czech newspaper, its aim is only to offer Roma voluntary relocation to land bought in India. This has undertones of the situation in Italy.

Of course, the BNP itself would like to repatriate - supposedly voluntarily - and believes that asylum can be summed up thus: We will also clamp down on the flood of ‘asylum seekers’, all of whom are either bogus or can find refuge much nearer their home countries.

The Chinese people I have known in my life have been by and large honourable and law-abiding folk. Not that that is any excuse to flood my country with their compatriots, there being a limit to the amount of Chinese food outlets and shellfish harvesting opportunities Britain can provide.

Yes, know your place.......we don't mind you doing laundry or running take-aways as long as we can imitate the Spanish Olympic basketball team and the Duke of Edinburgh in keeping the slitty-eyed motif running.
